Free Transjakarta Card Registration Available at CFD Rasuna Said Today, Limited Quota

Registration for the Free Service Card (KLG) is open in the Car Free Day (CFD) area on Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, on Sunday (10/5/2026). The registration runs from 6:00 WIB to 10:00 WIB at the pedestrian area of Plaza Festival, Rasuna Said. The programme is aimed at the elderly and people with disabilities to enjoy free public transport services in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta. According to official information from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, the quota for Transjakarta Free Card registration at CFD Rasuna Said is limited to 200 cards on the first day of implementation. The public is also urged to follow the instructions of the officers during the registration process. Crowds were seen around Plaza Festival, the KLG registration site. In that area, there is an aerobics stage with musical accompaniment as well as traditional Betawi ondel-ondel performances. Several residents were seen using the clear road for running and cycling. Transjakarta buses were also still visible passing through during the CFD. Officers blew whistles several times to remind residents not to block the busway lane. “Well, there are also those who are lazy to go to CFD at Bundaran HI. Because some feel bored too,” said Ben to Kompas.com. Another resident, Faisal (25), assessed that the new CFD location makes it more spacious for residents who want to exercise because the crowds are not concentrated only in Sudirman-Thamrin. “There (Sudirman-Thamrin) it’s sometimes really full, so if someone wants to cycle, it’s a bit difficult,” said Faisal.
