Free tap water for mosques

BOGOR (JP): City-owned tap water company PDAM Bogor has
decided not to charge 289 mosques for tap water for the whole
Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan.

"This is part of our appreciation of the Muslim holy month,"
PDAM Bogor director Daslim Saibi said on Friday.

The company also set a light tap water installment fee for
household customers.

"The tariff for new customers is set at Rp 525,000 and can be
paid in 10 installments, instead of six in the previous system,"
he said, adding that the system was due to end on March 9 next
year. (24/edt)
