Free stickers for haj relatives

The committee in charge of the departure and arrival of haj pilgrims at Halim Perdanakusumah airbase has distributed free stickers to relatives of the pilgrims to anticipate possible disturbances committed by third parties.

"The free stickers are given to relatives to prove that the holder is not one intent on disturbing the pilgrimage arrival process," Col. Adang Hasan BM, head of the committee, was quoted by Antara as saying here late last week.

However, Adang, gave no further explanation about his worries.

He only said that the stickers, required to be put on a car used to pick up pilgrims, could also help ease the traffic flow around the airport.

The stickers can be picked up from the committee at the airport by haj relatives three to four hours before the plane lands. (bsr)
