The Free SOE Homecoming Programme 2026 has officially begun. The flag-off ceremony for the departures took place at Ring Road Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) in Jakarta, attended by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), along with SOE leaders, TNI, and Polri officials.

In his speech, AHY expressed high appreciation for the consistent efforts of SOEs in assisting the public through this programme. He stated that the initiative is crucial for curbing the use of private vehicles during the Eid homecoming period.

“The government extends its thanks and appreciation to the SOEs for implementing the free homecoming, as it will undoubtedly reduce the use of private vehicles, particularly motorcycles. This demonstrates that the state and government are present to provide the best services to the people,” said AHY.

Head of the SOE Holding Company, Dony Oskaria, emphasised that the programme is a tangible manifestation of SOEs’ commitment to delivering direct benefits.

Nationally, public enthusiasm has been exceptionally high, surpassing the initial targets. A total of 116,688 homecomers were transported using 1,541 bus fleets to more than 200 regencies and cities in Indonesia.

“The Free SOE Homecoming Programme represents a spirit of mutual cooperation and SOEs’ care for the community. We aim to ensure that the public can undertake their homecoming journeys in a safer, more comfortable, and secure manner,” asserted Dony.

One of the actively participating companies is PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) through its “Comfortable Homecoming Together 2026” programme.

The company transported 500 homecomers on 16–17 March 2026 from three main points: Menara Agrinas Palma, GBK, and GOR Soemantri in Jakarta.

President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), Mohammad Abdul Ghani, personally flagged off the participants and noted an increase in the quota this year.

“This year, we are transporting 500 homecomers, a significant increase from the previous year,” he revealed. Ten bus units have been prepared to serve routes to West Java, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Banten, Lampung, South Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

The programme received a warm welcome from participants who felt greatly assisted amid the difficulties in obtaining public transport tickets.

Through this initiative, PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) hopes to strengthen its role in fulfilling sustainable social and environmental responsibilities for the wider community.

The homecoming participants are part of approximately 1,200 employees working under the Wong Hang Group.

PT Jasa Raharja officially flagged off the departure of 23,500 homecomers as part of the Free SOE Homecoming Programme 2026.

Bank Mandiri transported more than 10,000 homecomers through its Free Joint Homecoming Programme.
