Free Nutritious Meals Programme in South Sumatra reaches two million people, 834 SPPG operating across 17 regions
The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme in South Sumatra has reached 17 districts and cities, with total beneficiaries amounting to 2,036,667 people. According to data from the Palembang Nutrition Fulfilment Office (KPPG), 834 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) are now operational. Of these, 794 SPPG have obtained the Hygiene Sanitation Feasibility Certificate (SLHS). Workers at the SPPG kitchen of the South Sumatra Regional Police in Palembang were seen preparing meal packages and labelled food containers for distribution under the programme.
