Free Homecoming Registration Link East Java Provincial Government 2026: Complete with Schedule and Quota

SURABAYA - The Transportation Office (Dishub) of the East Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jatim) is once again launching a free homecoming programme for travel using buses and ships.

“This programme is expected to reduce the use of private vehicles and reduce the number of accidents,” said Nyono, Head of the Transportation Office of Pemprov Jatim, citing Kompas.com on Saturday (28 February 2026).

Online registration for Free Homecoming East Java 2026 opens from 2-5 March 2026, with offline registration beginning 8 March 2026.

Based on a post from the official Instagram account of the East Java Transportation Office on Saturday (28 February 2026), online free homecoming registration can be done through the website mudikgratis.dishub.jatimprov.go.id for bus transport, and sipento.dishub.jatimprov.go.id for sea vessels.

Meanwhile, offline registration can be carried out at the East Java Provincial Transportation Office from 8 March 2026 until the quota is fulfilled.

This year, Pemprov Jatim is providing a quota of 11,000 tickets that can be obtained by East Java residents for homecoming travel to areas within East Java or outside East Java.

Residents can also transport two-wheeled vehicles through this free homecoming programme. However, Pemprov Jatim only provides 200 motorcycle quota units for the routes to Madiun, Ponorogo, Magetan, Tulungagung, Jember, and Banyuwangi.
