Free Homecoming Programme to Five Cities Opens for Bogor Regency Residents, Register Now
BOGOR, KOMPAS.com - The Bogor Regency government is preparing 40 buses for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr free homecoming service, with a total quota of 2,200 passengers. This programme is designed to help residents return to their hometowns safely and comfortably while also reducing transportation costs during the homecoming season.
The Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto, said that all the buses have been prepared through the Bogor Regency Transportation Department and will depart from Pakansari Stadium. He emphasised that this free transportation service is a form of service from the local government to the community to ensure a more orderly and safe homecoming journey. In addition, the programme is expected to reduce the density of private vehicles on the homecoming routes.
Each bus has a capacity of 55 people. With 40 buses departing during the peak homecoming period. For the return journey, the Bogor Regency government has also prepared 15 buses. The routes will pass through the Purbaleunyi Toll Road and the Trans Java Toll Road, depending on the destination city.
