Several free health programmes are being held in Denpasar, Bali, throughout October 2026. These include the Catch-Up Immunisation Month, Free Health Check-ups and health outreach visits to banjar neighbourhoods.

Catch-Up Immunisation Month

Catch-Up Immunisation Month provides free vaccinations for children. The programme is aimed at babies and children aged 0–11, particularly children aged 12–23 months who have not received all their routine vaccinations. It runs from 1 to 30 October 2026.

Vaccines offered include polio, BCG, DPT-HB-Hib, IPV and measles-rubella, according to each child’s age and immunisation status. Parents can take their Maternal and Child Health (KIA) book or vaccination record to the nearest health facility for staff to check.

Free vaccinations are available at:

  • Community health centres (puskesmas).

  • Integrated health posts (posyandu).

  • Immunisation service posts.

  • Hospitals working with Denpasar City Government.

Denpasar City Government is targeting 95 per cent immunisation coverage. Routine immunisation will also continue each month at posyandu and puskesmas.

Free Health Check-ups

In addition to immunisations, residents can take part in the Free Health Check-up (CKG) programme at their nearest puskesmas. Screening covers non-communicable diseases and includes checks for blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid and cholesterol.

The free checks can also detect risks of diabetes, heart disease, anaemia, hypertension, lung cancer and breast cancer. Denpasar residents need to register through the Satu Sehat app before visiting a puskesmas.

How to register for a CKG check-up

Residents can register for a CKG check-up in three ways:

  • Download the Satu Sehat Mobile app, then select a date and puskesmas location.

  • Contact the Health Ministry’s WhatsApp chatbot on 0811-1050-0567.

  • Visit the nearest puskesmas in person with an identity card (KTP) or family card (KK).

Health outreach visits to banjar neighbourhoods

Denpasar City Government is also taking health outreach services to banjar neighbourhoods. The activities are held alongside posyandu services for under-fives and older people, making it easier for residents to access free check-ups.

The outreach services include general examinations, screening for non-communicable diseases and treatment provided by the nearest puskesmas.

Residents are advised to bring a KIA book for children’s immunisations, or a KTP/KK for health-check registration. The latest schedules and locations can be checked with local puskesmas and through the official channels of the Denpasar Health Office.
