Free Entry to Ragunan Zoo for Jakarta ID Holders on Three Days

To celebrate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary, Ragunan Zoo is offering free entry for three days exclusively to holders of a DKI Jakarta ID card. According to the zoo’s official Instagram account (@ragunanzoo), the free admission period applies on Monday, 22 June 2026, Saturday, 27 June 2026, and Sunday, 28 June 2026. The free entry does not include vehicle parking fees or charges for rides within the zoo.

Access to the zoo is available via the north entrance from Jl. RM Harsono, Jl. TB Simatupang, Jl. Warung Jati Barat, the Pondok Pinang-TMII toll road, and the Jakarta Outer Ring Road. The west entrance can be reached from Jl. Raya Cilandak KKO, Jl. Ampera Raya, and Jl. TB Simatupang, while the west entrance via Pondok Labu is accessible from Jl. Margasatwa, Jl. Pondok Labu, and Jl. Andara.

In conjunction with the anniversary, the Jakarta provincial government is also offering special public transport fares. On 22, 27, and 28 June 2026, fares for Transjakarta (BRT, Non BRT, and Transjabodetabek services), MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta (Velodrome-Pegangsaan Dua route) will be set at Rp 1. The promotional fare applies to all passengers using electronic money cards from Bank Mandiri, BCA, BNI, and BRI, as well as JakLingko, KMT, and Jakcard, or via the JakLingko and MyMRTJ applications.
