Free Entry to Ancol for KJP Plus Holders, Note the Requirements
Free entry to Ancol Dreamland for recipients of the Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP), including during the 2026 Eid holidays, has been announced. KJP is a strategic programme designed to provide educational access for underprivileged residents of DKI Jakarta, enabling them to pursue education up to high school or equivalent level with full funding from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. This free entry programme for KJP recipients has been in effect since April 2025 and continues to the present. âKJP cardholders simply need to show their card to the gate staff upon visiting. Free for one accompanying person,â said Daniel Windriatmoko, Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, to Kompas.com on Friday (20/3/2026). The KJP will then be verified by staff at the Main Gate ticket counter of Ancol. After verification, students can enter the Ancol Dreamland area for free. It should be noted that this free recreational facility applies only on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and during school holiday periods. Students can enjoy the expanse of white sand along Symphony of The Sea, jogging, leisurely walks, or simply breathing fresh air on the wide and comfortable pedestrian paths, while awaiting sunrise or sunset moments. KJP holders can also engage in activities in the green open space of Ecopark, such as learning gardening, getting to know and feeding animals, and enjoying facilities like fitness parks, cycling, or relaxing in shaded areas. Tickets for entry to Ancol and all its recreational units can be purchased online via the official website ancol.com. Ancol also continues to provide on-site counters for visitors who wish to buy tickets directly at the location.
