Jakarta — The management of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk is waiving entry tickets for visitors to the coastal recreation destination in north Jakarta throughout Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.

“We have created a free entry programme called ‘Ancol Ramadhan’ and ‘Ramadhan Happy Journey’, along with fasting promotional programmes,” said Daniel Windriatmoko, Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, in Jakarta on Wednesday.

With the free tickets, visitors can enjoy the sunset-to-evening atmosphere during Ramadan at the Ancol precinct.

In welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, Ancol Taman Impian is presenting a series of special programmes combining togetherness, affordable recreation, and shared happiness for families and young people in Jakarta and surrounding areas.

The free entry programme runs from Wednesday until Wednesday 18 March, from 5pm to 11pm Western Indonesian Time.

The programme aims to enable more members of the public to enjoy the Ramadan atmosphere at the seaside area without the cost of an entry ticket.

Those wishing to obtain free access must make reservations through the website from 16 February to 18 March 2026. Each person may reserve a maximum of two free tickets per day.

The free entry tickets do not include vehicle tickets or admission to recreational attractions. “Tickets for Ancol Recreation, Samudra, Jakarta Bird Land, Atlantis and others are purchased separately,” he said.

Through this programme, visitors can enjoy the “Festival of Ramadan Wonders” during the afternoon-to-evening period at the Ancol Monument Lake area, featuring various events such as Thematic Ramadan Lectures, Ramadan Culinary, Ramadan Melodies, and Hadroh and Marawis Competitions.

Additionally, the “Ramadhan Happy Journey” programme at Samudra Ancol and Jakarta Bird Land offers meaningful Islamic educational activities.

Samudra Ancol and Jakarta Bird Land are presenting a special programme entitled “Ramadhan Happy Journey: Storytelling and Animal Adventure”, to be held on 28 February 2026.

According to Windriatmoko, the programme is designed as an educational recreational experience combining Islamic values, family entertainment, and animal interaction in a warm and communal Ramadan atmosphere.

Adopting an “edutainment” concept, the Ramadhan Happy Journey features a range of engaging activities including an Animal and Ocean Friends Parade, Islamic-themed Storytelling, Iftar Nabawi, Islamic Games, and various prizes.
