Free BUMN Homecoming 2026: Kimia Farma Dispatches Travellers to Solo and Yogyakarta
PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (KAEF) has again facilitated the public through the BUMN Joint Homecoming Programme 2026, titled “Comfortable Homecoming Together,” to welcome Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah.
The programme was formally launched through a flag-off ceremony for the BUMN Joint Homecoming 2026, held simultaneously on Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at two locations: Kimia Farma’s Head Office and Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) in Jakarta.
Dony Oskaria, Head of BP BUMN, stated that the free BUMN homecoming programme demonstrates the state enterprises’ commitment to providing direct benefits to the public, particularly during significant occasions such as Idul Fitri.
The BUMN Joint Homecoming Programme 2026 is part of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) implemented through collaboration between BP BUMN and several state-owned enterprises, including Kimia Farma.
Under this programme, Kimia Farma provides bus transportation facilities for both the public and company employees. The registration process was conducted online through the Kimia Farma Mobile application from 27 to 28 February 2026.
“Through this BUMN Joint Homecoming programme, we aim to provide safe, affordable, accessible, and sustainable transportation facilities, enabling the public to travel to their hometowns with greater comfort. Additionally, this programme is expected to reduce traffic congestion and improve travel safety for travellers,” stated a company spokesperson.
Public enthusiasm for the programme has been notably high. Within less than 30 minutes of opening, 4,740 prospective participants had registered.
Through this initiative, Kimia Farma operates five bus units transporting a total of 240 travellers to five destination cities: Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Padang.
Participants receive several additional benefits, including safety assurance, accident insurance during travel, and health packages from Kimia Farma Group products.
The bus fleet meets long-distance travel standards and has undergone ramp checks by the Department of Transportation to ensure safety and comfort during the journey.
One participant, Yanuar, expressed his appreciation for participating in the BUMN Joint Homecoming Programme for the first time and for the facilities provided.
Beyond the homecoming initiative, Kimia Farma and its subsidiary entities are conducting various social activities throughout Ramadan this year. Through the Kimia Farma Sharing Ramadan Programme, the company is distributing 480 Ramadan packages containing essential goods to needy communities around company workplaces at ten locations.
