Frans Putros Confirms Persib's Readiness Despite Bojan Hodak's Absence in the Last Two Matches

Persib Bandung player Frans Putros has affirmed that his team is prepared for their remaining two matches of the 2025-2026 Super League season, despite coach Bojan Hodak being unable to attend due to a suspension.

Bojan Hodak must serve an accumulated card ban and will therefore be absent from the sidelines, including during today’s match between PSM Makassar and Persib at the Gelora BJ Habibie Stadium (Sunday, 17 May 2026, 7:00 PM WIB).

Bojan Hodak will also miss the match against Persijap Jepara at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on 23 May.

Despite the absence of the Persib coach, Frans Putros believes that all players understand their roles and the team’s strategy after a week of preparation.

“No, we have spent this past week preparing, and I think all the players now know what they need to do, know the tactics for later, and everything. For me, that won’t be a problem,” said Putros, as reported by Antara.

The situation is not new for Tolic. Previously, he also led Persib during matches against Malut United and Madura United.

Persib is still competing for the championship title in this season’s Super League. The Bandung team currently has the same number of points as Borneo FC Samarinda, namely 75.

“There isn’t much I can say. We are already in the final period. Now we have two matches left, and we will fight until the end. We have to give our all, win both remaining matches, and finish this season in the best possible way,” said Tolic.

The Iraqi national team player hopes that Persib can take an important step when facing PSM Makassar before concluding the season in Bandung.

“We want to take a big step. So, yes, our focus now is on the upcoming match, and hopefully we can finish it in Bandung,” said Putros.
