The iCIO Community, an independent network of CIOs and IT leaders in Indonesia, has officially announced its new chairman for the 2026–2028 period: Franciscus Adam, Head of Corporate IT at Japfa Comfeed Indonesia. This decision was made through a voting mechanism conducted during the Annual General Members’ Meeting (RUA) at Park Hyatt Jakarta on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

The year 2026 marks a significant milestone for the iCIO Community, celebrating 10 years of formal legal existence, although the community was established in 2013 as a space for collaboration among Indonesia’s information technology leaders. Over more than a decade of its journey, the iCIO Community has continued to evolve into an active ecosystem that provides forums for strategic discussions, industry research, mentorship, and programmes to develop the next generation of CIOs.

The iCIO Community chairman for the 2024–2026 period, who is also Director & Chief Information Technology Officer at XLSMART, Yessie Yosetya, expressed appreciation for the support of all members during her tenure, as well as optimism about the new leadership relay. “The last two years have shown that when IT leaders unite in a spirit of collaboration, the impact is enormous. I thank all members, partners, and stakeholders who have joined together to bring the iCIO Community forward. I believe the new management will continue this foundation and take the community to the next level,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Franciscus, familiarly known as Frans, conveyed his commitment to continuing the achievements that have been built and taking the community to the next growth phase. “I thank the members for the trust given. The iCIO Community plays an important role as a home for Indonesian IT leaders to share insights, build real collaborations, and provide a platform for developing digital leadership capacity for its members. Moving forward, we want to strengthen value for members, expand strategic networks, and drive greater contributions to the national digital ecosystem,” he said.

The founder and advisor of the iCIO Community, Harry Surjanto, added that the leadership transition is an important part of the community’s sustainability. “The strength of the community lies in its ability to continue growing through regeneration and a spirit of sharing. This leadership change is not just a handover of positions, but a moment to bring new energy, new perspectives, and greater contributions for Indonesian IT leaders,” Harry concluded.

Following the General Members’ Meeting agenda, the event continued with the Executive Gathering, an exclusive informal forum that this year featured the theme “The New Leadership Challenge: High Expectations, Tougher Markets”. The discussion featured two cross-industry expert speakers: Shirley Santoso, President Director of Kearney Indonesia, who shared strategic perspectives on leadership and business transformation, and Brando Lubis, Indonesia Commercial Lead at AMD Indonesia, who provided insights on the role of technology and innovation readiness in supporting organisational competitiveness.
