France Ready for Agricultural Expertise and Efficiency Cooperation with Indonesia

Jakarta – France’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Fabien Penone, expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with Indonesia in agricultural expertise, aimed at improving the efficiency and productivity of Indonesian agriculture through sharing experience, technology, and more modern food sector management.

“From the French side, we are ready to share experience and expertise to continue improving the efficiency and productivity of Indonesian agriculture,” Penone said during a limited meeting with Indonesia’s Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman at the Ministry of Agriculture Office in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In the meeting, Penone conveyed congratulations on Indonesia’s achievements in increasing food production and the government’s efforts in promoting food self-sufficiency.

He expressed appreciation for Indonesia’s progress in strengthening national food security, viewing the various steps taken by the Indonesian government as demonstrating positive advances in improving agricultural sector productivity.

Penone also appreciated Minister Amran’s commitment to strengthening the national agricultural sector through various programmes aimed at increasing production and agricultural efficiency.

“I know Minister Amran has worked very hard to achieve these results,” he said.
