France, Hungary have new envoys
JAKARTA: New French Ambassador Herve Ladsous and Hungarian Ambassador Gyorgy Busztin to Indonesia submitted their credentials to President Megawati Soekarnoputri on Wednesday.
Present at the ceremony at Merdeka Palace was Minister of Foreign Affairs Hassan Wirayuda.
Ladsous replaced Ambassador Gerard Cross, who had been posted in Jakarta since Feb. 24, 1998.
While, Busztin replaced Lajos Tamas, who submitted his credentials on Oct. 31, 1997. --JP
