France Bans Israel from Participating in Eurosatory Defence Exhibition

The French government has banned Israel’s participation in the Eurosatory defence exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in Paris at the end of June. This decision means that the Israeli Ministry of Defence will be unable to participate or establish an official stand at the event.

According to a statement released by the French government, Israeli officials are also prohibited from attending, and offensive weapons manufactured by Israel may not be displayed. However, Israeli air defence systems and related products are still permitted to be included in the exhibition.

The French decision comes amidst rising tensions with Israel regarding the war in Lebanon and the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. This move also coincides with increasing French criticism of Israeli policies and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza.
