ENTERING its fourth year, the Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk data-centre focused operating company, PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC Group), is strengthening its position as a Digital Ecosystem Hub. This is being pursued through accelerated strategic collaborations and enhanced service capabilities as an AI enabler. This step serves as a response to the surge in demand for AI-based computing, while also fortifying Indonesia’s data sovereignty foundations amid increasingly tight competition in the region’s digital infrastructure.

CEO of NeutraDC Group, Andreuw Th.A.F, said the strengthening of positioning reflects the company’s strategic direction as it faces the next phase of digital growth. Four years is not merely a milestone but a momentum to sharpen its role.

“We are building infrastructure that is not only reliable and secure but also ready to support AI acceleration. Through cross-ecosystem collaboration, NeutraDC wants to ensure Indonesia has a competitive computing foundation at the regional level,” he said in a statement on Thursday (5 March 2026).

According to him, the need for AI-ready infrastructure has now become an actual requirement, not a long-term projection.

Therefore, in addition to expanding capacity, NeutraDC integrates Colo, Connect and Compute to support orchestration of connectivity and computing in a single integrated system.

“Operationally, the strategy is realised through the integration of colocation, compute, and connect in a single modular ecosystem designed to be adaptive to technology dynamics, including AI growth, cloud, and high-capacity computing needs,” he said.

With this integration, he continued, NeutraDC positions itself not only as a provider of physical facilities but as a driver of a digital ecosystem that unites infrastructure, connectivity, and computing services within a single strategic framework.

The strategy runs in tandem with facility expansion in Jakarta, the development of a large-scale data centre in Batam, and operations in Singapore. The presence in Singapore is strategically important as the country is one of the largest interconnection and data traffic hubs in the Asia-Pacific.

Having a presence there allows NeutraDC to connect the domestic ecosystem with global networks more efficiently, while offering cross-border hybrid architecture options and disaster recovery for customers in Indonesia.

NeutraDC Singapore has also obtained a Services-Based Operator (SBO) licence, enabling official resale of connectivity services, while strengthening regulatory compliance aspects at the regional level and supporting long-term business growth.

The existence of NeutraDC facilities abroad makes the company an Indonesian data centre operator with an international footprint.

This model brings strategic implications, from improved reliability through cross-border redundancy, strengthened regional connectivity, to the flexibility of managing domestic and global workloads simultaneously.

This position adds value in the form of stronger regional connectivity, cross-border redundancy, and hybrid-architecture flexibility. “With this model, Indonesia is not only a consumer data market but also part of the regional digital infrastructure value chain,” closed Andreuw.

Moving into the next growth phase, NeutraDC commits to continuing measured and proactive infrastructure development, expanding cross-regional reach and deepening service capabilities.

For NeutraDC, moving from a facilities provider to an ecosystem driver is seen as crucial to strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness on the Asia-Pacific digital infrastructure map.

The availability of hyperscale capacity and AI-ready capabilities domestically not only accelerates industrial transformation but also enhances Indonesia’s attractiveness as a technology-based investment destination.
