President Prabowo Subianto’s son, Ragowo Hediprasetyo, also known as Didit Prabowo, met with Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), at the latter’s residence in Solo. Didit arrived at 11:02 WIB on Thursday (18/6/2026), carrying several books and greeting journalists briefly before entering the house. Dressed in a white shirt and navy blue trousers, Didit held a closed-door meeting with Jokowi.

The meeting lasted approximately 30 minutes. Didit emerged at 11:40 WIB, shook hands with Jokowi, and immediately got into his car. He did not disclose the details of their discussion, stating only that he had stopped by after attending the Malam 1 Suro event at Mangkunegaran in Solo. “Just stopped by, after 1 Suro,” Didit said from inside the vehicle.

Jokowi escorted Didit to the gate and waved as he departed. Before entering the car, Didit bowed and kissed Jokowi’s hand. Jokowi similarly declined to reveal the content of their conversation.

The visit drew positive reactions from political parties. PSI Chairman Bestari Barus praised Didit’s high manners and viewed the visit as proof of the strong friendship between Prabowo and Jokowi. He noted that while any specific topics discussed remained private, the gesture itself was significant. Gerindra spokesperson Bahtra Banong described the meeting as a normal and positive act of maintaining good relations, reflecting Prabowo’s teaching to his family and party cadres to always build good relationships with national figures.
