Four Suspects Arrested in Murder of Indonesian Army Personnel in Tangerang

The South Tangerang Metropolitan Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of an Indonesian Army (TNI AD) personnel. The suspects, identified by their initials as BR, RRGB, MKN, and H, were apprehended not far from the crime scene on Jalan Raya Pondok Hijau Golf, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

South Tangerang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Boy Jumalolo, stated that the case began with the discovery of a man’s body on the roadside near the Turquoise Cluster intersection in Curug Sangereng Village, Kelapa Dua, on Sunday morning. The victim was later identified as ABS, a member of the Indonesian Army.

Based on the initial crime scene investigation by the forensics team, the victim died from multiple stab wounds inflicted by a sharp weapon. Following the discovery, a joint police team moved swiftly to gather witness statements, secure evidence, and track down the perpetrators, leading to the rapid arrest of the four suspects. The suspects are currently being detained at the South Tangerang Police headquarters for intensive questioning to uncover the motive and full chronology of the murder.
