Four Suspected Drug Dealers in Bima Arrested During Meth Party
The Bima Police Resort’s Narcotics Directorate arrested four men — DWP (32), ZA (42), IP (34) and MH (44) — on suspicion of being involved in a drug distribution and use ring for methamphetamine (sabu). “Arrested while at a sabu party,” said AKP Dediansyah, head of the Narcotics Directorate of Bima Police Resort, on Friday (22 May 2026). All four are residents of Parado Rato Village, Parado District, Bima Regency. They were arrested at DWP’s house in Desa Rato on Thursday night (21 May 2026). “Following a report from the public that the house of DWP in Desa Rato is often used as a place for drug transactions and sabu parties,” he said. From the arrest, authorities seized seven sachets of sabu ready for distribution, weighing 7.14 grams, along with several items of evidence related to Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics and cash Rp 947,000. “The sabu evidence seized was briefly hidden by DWP and discarded by ZA,” he added. After arrest, the four dealers and the evidence were taken to Mapolres Bima for further legal proceedings. They are currently under intensive investigation by investigators. “We are continuing in-depth investigations into their involvement and roles in this illicit sabu distribution,” he said. Based on initial interviews, DWP admitted that the illegal sabu belonged to him, obtained or purchased from someone whose identity has been established and further development will be pursued. “In accordance with the Police Chief’s instructions, the case will continue to be developed,” he concluded.
