An organisational reshuffle has taken place within the Yogyakarta Regional Police (Polda DIY) environment. Four senior officials of Polda DIY, along with the Yogyakarta City Police Chief (Kapolresta Jogja), have officially been replaced during a handover ceremony held at the Anton Soedjarwo Building, Polda DIY.

The handover ceremony was led directly by the Chief of Yogyakarta Regional Police, Inspector General Anggoro Sukartono, and attended by the Deputy Chief of Yogyakarta Regional Police, Brigadier General Eddy Djunaedi, senior officials of Polda DIY, and various Police Chiefs within the Yogyakarta Regional Police jurisdiction.

“The change of positions is a natural occurrence within the dynamics of the Indonesian National Police organisation. In addition to being part of career development, mutations and rotations are also expected to provide new energy and perspectives in the execution of duties, so that service to the community becomes increasingly optimal,” stated the Head of Public Relations of Polda DIY, Commissioner Ihsan, in a written statement on Friday (3_July_2026).

The replacement of several officials includes several strategic positions, such as the Head of Human Resources (Karo SDM), Head of General Affairs (Karorena), Director of Community Empowerment (Dirbinmas), Head of ICT (Kabid TIK) of Polda DIY, and the Yogyakarta City Police Chief.

For the position of Head of Human Resources of Polda DIY, Commissioner Uri Nartanti Istiwidayati has been entrusted with a new task as the Head of Training Division (Kabagbinjas) of the Police Human Resources Development Agency (SSDM Polri). The position she vacated is now held by Commissioner Hery Indra Cahyono, who previously served as a Police Human Resources Assessor.

Furthermore, the position of Head of General Affairs of Polda DIY, previously held by Commissioner Egy Andrian Suez, has been entrusted to Commissioner Cahyo Widyatmoko, who previously served as a General Planner at the Police Training Centre (Stamarena Polri). Commissioner Egy will move to a role as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Special Crimes Division of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) as part of the 2026 functional development programme.

In the position of Director of Community Empowerment (Dirbinmas) of Polda DIY, the role transitions from Commissioner Bagiyo Hadi Kurniyanto to Commissioner Oki Bagus Setiaji. Commissioner Bagiyo will subsequently serve as a Forensic Laboratory Examiner at Bareskrim Polri, while Commissioner Oki previously served as the Head of Career Development in the Human Resources Division of the Banten Regional Police.

As for the position of Head of ICT (Kabid TIK) of Polda DIY, previously held by Commissioner Muhammad Purbaja, he has received a new assignment as the Director of Traffic for the West Kalimantan Regional Police. The position of Head of ICT for Polda DIY will now be held by Commissioner Kurnianto Purwoko, formerly a Senior Lecturer at the Police Science Institute (STIK Lemdiklat Polri).

Finally, the position of Yogyakarta City Police Chief, previously held by Commissioner Eva Guna Pandia, has been entrusted to Commissioner Ari Setyawan Wibowo. Commissioner Eva will move to a new assignment as the Director of Traffic for the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, while Commissioner Ari previously served as a Police Instructor at the Police Education and Training Institute (Sespimmen Sespim Lemdiklat Polri).

“The most important thing is the continuity of duty execution. We hope the new officials can quickly adapt, continue the positive developments that have been established, and simultaneously introduce innovations in accordance with the challenges of their respective fields,” concluded Ihsan.
