Four tourists from a single family were found dead at a tourist site in the Kledung area of Temanggung Regency. All four victims were taken to Temanggung Regional Hospital for autopsy.

The victims consist of three males and one female. The male victims are identified as MAM (52), AEH (17), and BAH (21), while the female victim is M (43). All are residents of Panjang Village, Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency.

“Today, our team from the Temanggung Police Residency’s Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a crime scene investigation regarding the discovery of four deceased individuals. They were a family on a trip to a tourist site in Temanggung Regency,” said Inspector I Komang Mahendra Deputra, head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, to reporters at Temanggung Regional Hospital on Thursday (28 May).

“All four victims are from the same family and reside in Panjang Village, Ambarawa, Semarang,” Komang added.

Komang stated that the victims arrived at the tourist site on Tuesday (26 May) at around 10pm WIB. They were camping at the location.

“For accommodation, they were camping. The next day, Wednesday (27 May) at approximately 11.45am WIB, site staff notified them to check out immediately as cleaning was to take place,” he said.

The victims’ bodies were discovered by staff preparing to clean the campsite. Tragically, all four were found motionless.

“When there was no response from the victims, staff returned at 3pm WIB, opened the tent, and found all four deceased inside,” he added.

Following the evacuation, the victims were transported to Temanggung Regional Hospital for further examination.
