Four Prospective Issuers Queue for IPO, Two Are Large Companies
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) records that four companies are still set to conduct initial public offerings (IPOs). IDX Company Valuation Director Saidu Solihin said the four prospective issuers operate in basic materials, non-critical consumer goods and the healthcare sector.
“To date, there are four companies in the IDX listing pipeline,” he said in an official statement on Monday (13 July 2026).
The four prospective issuers comprise two small-scale companies with assets below Rp 50 billion, and two companies with large-scale assets of more than Rp 250 billion.
As is known, as of 10 July 2026, seven companies have listed their shares on the IDX, raising Rp 2.16 trillion.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto views the continuation of IPO activity as a positive indicator that business confidence in the national capital market remains intact.
This IPO momentum is particularly special as it is only the second IPO in Indonesia in 2026, taking place amid considerable stock market volatility. Nevertheless, the continuation of IPO activity also reflects business players’ optimism about the maintained prospects of the national economy.
In the first quarter of 2026, the Indonesian economy grew by 5.61%, demonstrating strong resilience amid global economic dynamics. This positive performance was supported by sustained domestic consumption, increased investment activity, and various reforms continually carried out by the Government to strengthen the business climate.
“Congratulations to the new Chief Executive of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) – this is the first IPO since taking office,” said Airlangga Hartarto at the IDX building in Jakarta on Tuesday (7 July 2026).
One of the main sectors supporting economic growth is the food and beverage industry. In the first quarter of 2026, the sector contributed 7.31% to national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), up from 7.20% in the same period the previous year.
The food and beverage industry also recorded growth of 7.04%, driven by increased demand during the National Religious Holidays (HBKN) period.
On the investment side, the food and beverage industry continues to show positive performance. In the first quarter of 2026, realised Foreign Investment (PMA) in the sector reached Rp 10.48 trillion, while Domestic Investment (PMDN) reached Rp 16.34 trillion.
These achievements reflect high investor interest in the real sector, whilst also showing that the Indonesian domestic market remains vibrant, people’s purchasing power is maintained, and the national investment climate is on the right track.
The Government also continues its reforms in the capital market sector to maintain investor confidence and enhance the competitiveness of the national financial market. The decision by global index provider MSCI to retain Indonesia in the Emerging Market category in its June 2026 review reflects the strength of national economic fundamentals and the growing credibility of the Indonesian capital market in the eyes of global investors.
The continuation of IPO activity in the capital market is expected to further strengthen its function as a source of long-term financing for the business world. Through funds raised from the public, companies can accelerate business expansion, increase production capacity and innovation, and create more jobs, thereby contributing more significantly to national economic growth.
Going forward, the Government, together with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the IDX, will continue to strengthen capital market reform through improved transparency, governance, and investor protection. These steps are expected to further deepen the Indonesian capital market, broaden access to financing for businesses, and strengthen the financial sector’s contribution to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
