Four Official Candidates Vie for HIPMI Chairman Position at the 18th National Congress
The Steering Committee (SC) of the 18th National Congress (Munas) of the Central Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPP HIPMI) has designated four candidates for the general chairman position for the forthcoming period. The four candidates are Ade Jona Prasetyo, Anthony Leong, Reynaldo Bryan, and Afifuddin Kalla. Chairman of the SC for the 18th Munas of BPP HIPMI, Tri Febrianto Damu, stated that the designation was made after all candidates underwent administrative verification and evaluation in accordance with organisational regulations. The next stage will see the candidates drawing lots for their sequence numbers, scheduled at Djakarta Theater in Jakarta on 24 April 2026. The 18th HIPMI Munas is planned for 10 June 2026. Tri also urged all HIPMI members to maintain organisational harmony and uphold the spirit of unity and sportsmanship throughout the congress proceedings. “The 18th Munas is not merely an occasion to elect leaders but also a platform for organisational consolidation to strengthen HIPMI’s role as the engine of the national economy and producer of resilient young entrepreneurs with global competitiveness,” he added. In addition to his legislative roles, he has a background as an entrepreneur and is active in the HIPMI organisation. He previously served as Chairman of the North Sumatra HIPMI Regional Board and was involved in central-level management. He has also contributed to strengthening business networks and economic cooperation, including promoting the use of technology in business development, particularly for small and medium enterprises (UMKM). Reynaldo Bryan is a young figure active in public communications and digital community development. He is involved in various initiatives related to digital literacy and youth empowerment. In various events, he serves as a speaker and community driver, particularly on issues of productive use of technology and social media. In addition to business activities, he is involved in organisational and social endeavours, and encourages business contributions to economic development.
