Four MT Honour 25 Crew Members Returned After Five Months Held Hostage by Somali Pirates
The Indonesian government has successfully brought home four Indonesian citizens, crew members of the MT Honour 25 vessel, who were victims of a ship hijacking by pirate groups in Somalia and held hostage for more than five months.
Upon their arrival at the VIP Terminal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (6/10/2026), the crew members were met by high-ranking officials. The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, Sugiono, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arrmanatha Nasir, were present to welcome the returning sailors.
