Four Military Auditors Visit RSCM, to Check on Andrie Yunus?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Four auditors from the Military Audit Office II-07 Jakarta visited Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

Based on observations by Kompas.com at the location, the four military auditors arrived at the lobby of the Kencana building at RSCM at 09.50 WIB.

The presence of the four auditors comes amid circulating information that the military auditors intended to visit Andrie Yunus, the Deputy Coordinator of KontraS, who is still undergoing treatment at RSCM after becoming a victim of an acid attack.

The four arriving military auditors were seen wearing green field service uniforms (PDL). They consisted of three men and one woman.

Two of them are known to be Lieutenant Colonel Chk Muhammad Iswadi and Major Chk Wasinton Marpaung.

The four auditors sat in the waiting room of the Kencana building lobby at RSCM for about 20 minutes before being directed by staff to a room inside the building.

Before the arrival of the military auditors’ group, former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Novel Baswedan arrived first at RSCM to visit Andrie Yunus.

Novel arrived at the Kanigara building at RSCM around 08.10 WIB and immediately met Andrie.

He left the location around 09.15 WIB and briefly provided statements to the media.

“I visited Mas Andrie Yunus early this morning,” Novel told reporters.

“Of course, I checked on his health, motivated him psychologically so that his mental state is strong. Because the psyche certainly contributes greatly to recovery and healing,” Novel explained.

“And I talked more about light matters because I know Andrie is bearing a very heavy burden as a victim, and of course, I don’t want to talk about things that burden Andrie,” he added.

In addition to Novel Baswedan’s presence, TAUD members Airlangga Julio and Fadhil Alfathan were also seen at RSCM on Tuesday morning.
