Four Military Auditors Rejected When Attempting to Visit Andrie Yunus at RSCM
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Four personnel from Oditur Militer II-07 Jakarta were rejected when attempting to visit Wakil Koordinator KontraS, Andrie Yunus, at Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026). The four auditors are Lieutenant Colonel Chk Muhammad Iswadi, Major Chk Wasinton Marpaung, Lieutenant Colonel Chk Upen Jaya Supena, and Captain Chk Citra Dewi Manurung. They were unable to meet Andrie because they had not obtained permission from the medical team or his legal representatives. “However, Mr Andrie Yunus has just undergone surgery, and today, post-operation, he is still in the recovery process, so indeed he cannot be visited,” he added. The four auditors were then met by the medical team, RSCM management, and the Advocacy Team for Democracy (TAUD) as Andrie Yunus’s legal representatives. Based on the doctor’s explanation, Andrie’s condition is still in the recovery stage, so the visit was deemed risky to the healing process. “And on the right side, the right shoulder must not move. Earlier information from the hospital management stated that it must be in a static position. If it moves even a little, the surgery will fail. So we understand the situation of Mr Andrie Yunus,” he explained. After the visit, the four auditors will prepare a report to be submitted to their superiors. The report will serve as material for further discussion, including the possibility of presenting the doctor treating Andrie in the military court trial. “If we are indeed ordered to meet the doctor later, we will meet the doctor to inquire about the latest condition of Mr Andrie Yunus before we make the indictment,” Iswadi explained. They then left RSCM at 11:03 WIB and provided statements to the media. Meanwhile, TAUD member Airlangga Julio stated that Andrie Yunus indeed did not wish to be visited by military auditor personnel. “He does not wish to be visited by anyone from TNI institutions,” Airlangga said when met separately at RSCM on Tuesday.
