Kuwait’s military has reported that one of its naval vessels was hit by Iranian missile and drone attacks, resulting in injuries to four crew members. Kuwait condemned the attack in the Strait of Hormuz as a vicious aggression.

Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan stated that the Iranian aggression targeted vital and civilian facilities. ‘The vicious Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of a number of vital and civilian facilities, and the falling of shrapnel in several locations across the country, causing material damage,’ said Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan.

He confirmed that one of the Kuwaiti Navy’s vessels was also targeted, leaving at least four service members injured. ‘One of the naval vessels belonging to the Kuwaiti Navy was also targeted, resulting in the injury of four members of the armed forces,’ he added.

The Iranian attack on Tuesday occurred after the United States launched a fresh strike against Iran, marking a new escalation in the conflict between the two countries.
