PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk will operationally open four toll road sections during the Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday season. Jasa Marga Chief Executive Officer Rivan Achmad Purwantoro stated that the four new toll roads will be opened functionally during Eid 2026.

“We are making preparations for the functional toll roads—there are four of them—and we have already conducted inspections to ensure they can operate during Eid,” Rivan said at a Jasa Marga media briefing on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

The four toll road sections are: Yogyakarta-Solo toll (Purwomartani-Prambanan segment), Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) 2 South Sections 3-6, Yogyakarta-Bawen Section 6, and Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Stage I.

Rivan added that the opening of these functional toll roads will vary, adjusted according to the discretion of the National Police Traffic Command (Korlantas Polri).

“The implementation of functional toll roads varies depending on Korlantas discretion,” Rivan continued.

For example, on the Purwomartani-Prambanan functional toll section, the functional implementation will operate in one direction towards Solo, from Purwomartani and then continuing on the Yogyakarta-Solo toll after the Prambanan interchange.

“For instance, if people from Yogyakarta want to go to Solo, they can enter at Purwomartani, so there is no crossing at Prambanan. But those coming from Solo to Yogyakarta can only exit at Prambanan,” he explained.

The Purwomartani-Prambanan toll section will be functional from 16-29 March 2026, 06:00-18:00 WIB.

For the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Stage I toll, specifically the Gending-Besuki section, the functional section Gending-Paiton can be used by Class 1 vehicles including buses. However, for the Paiton-Besuki section, it is currently only accessible to Class 1 vehicles excluding buses.

Rivan has also anticipated the potential emergence of spontaneous tourist activity at the rest area on the Paiton-Besuki functional section, as this rest area is located on a hilltop with beautiful views.

“We also predict this could become a tourist attraction in the surrounding area, because the Probolinggo to Besuki section will pass through hills above the Paiton coal-fired power plant and will offer views of the beach and mountains, thus potentially becoming a tourist spot,” he said.

The Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Stage I toll functional implementation will be applied 14-29 March 2026, 06:00-16:00 WIB.

Meanwhile, for Japek 2 South toll, the functional period will be applied 15-31 March, only for Class 1 non-bus vehicles and will operate in one direction from Bandung (Sadang) to Jakarta (Setu).
