Four Gianyar DPRD Factions Accept 2025 Budget Accountability Bill
Four factions in the Gianyar Regency Legislative Council (DPRD) have stated their acceptance of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) concerning the Accountability of the 2025 Fiscal Year Budget Implementation for further discussion. The stance was conveyed during the 2nd Plenary Session of the Gianyar DPRD with the Gianyar Regency Government on Friday (3/7/2026).
Gianyar Deputy Regent Anak Agung Gde Mayun said that all factions had delivered their general views along with a number of inputs regarding the draft regulation. “From the four factions that presented their views, all stated that they accept the draft and will proceed with further discussion regarding the Accountability of the 2025 Fiscal Year Budget Implementation,” said Deputy Regent Mayun.
Mayun noted that strategic views, suggestions, and inputs on the Raperda had been delivered. The PDI Perjuangan and Perindo factions assessed that the Raperda on the 2025 Budget Accountability is part of an evaluation process to ensure alignment between planning and budget realisation. This evaluation is considered important as a basis for improving and refining budget management in the following fiscal year.
The next view was presented by the Golkar Party faction. The party opined that every rupiah of the budget spent must provide tangible benefits to the community. These benefits include improving the quality of public services, equitable development, regional economic growth, and enhancing the welfare of the people of Gianyar Regency. “We appreciate the success of the Gianyar Regency Government in obtaining an unqualified opinion. This success is also followed by improvements in the quality of development, public services, and benefits that are directly felt by the community,” said Golkar faction member I Gusti Ngurah Ariasa.
Following Golkar, the Gerindra Party faction presented its view. Gerindra opined that the Gianyar APBD has demonstrated a strong commitment to Development and Social Expenditure, but remains predominantly input-oriented. Lastly, the view was delivered by a member of the United Democrat Faction, Anak Agung Oka Kalam. Kalam stated that the implementation of the APBD is a concrete form of the regional government’s commitment to realising quality public services, improving community welfare, and achieving sustainable and equitable development. “We hope that the Gianyar Regency Government will continue to prioritise strategic sectors such as MSME empowerment, social protection, cultural and environmental preservation, and strengthening bureaucratic reform,” said Kalam.
