Four Flights at Bali Airport Affected by US Strikes on Iran
The impact of the United States’ military strikes on Iran has begun to affect Bali. A number of flight routes from Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali have been forced to experience delays and schedule rescheduling.
“This is related to airspace closures in several countries,” said airport spokesperson Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi on Saturday evening, 28 February 2026.
However, he emphasised that flight operations and airport services at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali generally continue to operate normally.
As of Saturday at 21:00 WITA, a number of flights had undergone schedule adjustments, namely Etihad flight EY477 from Denpasar (DPS) to Abu Dhabi (AUH), which was delayed.
There were then three flight cancellations: Emirates EK369 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB), Emirates EK399 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB), and Qatar Airways QR963 from Denpasar (DPS) to Doha (DOH).
Gede Eka stated that the management of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), which operates I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali, is coordinating with several agencies.
Primarily, with airlines to continue updating flight schedules and handling prospective passengers already at the airport.
The airport is also coordinating with AirNav Indonesia to monitor affected airspace, as well as with security authorities to anticipate the security situation at the airport.
“We urge prospective passengers to maintain communication with airlines for updates on flight schedules,” he said.
The airport has also provided help desk services located on the second floor of the International Departure Terminal, as well as a contact centre service that can be accessed by telephone at number 172 for updated information.
