Four defendants in incitement of protest case sentenced to two years' imprisonment

The Public Prosecutor has demanded a two-year prison sentence for each of four defendants charged with incitement in connection with a protest case. The defendants—Delpedro Marhaen Rismansyah, Muzaffar Salim, Syahdan Husain, and Khariq Anhar—are accused of incitement through social media content posted in relation to demonstrations in August 2025 that resulted in violence and disorder. The sentencing hearing was held at Jakarta Central District Court (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat) on Friday, 27 February 2026.
