JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Four complainants in the case alleging President of the Republic of Indonesia Seventh Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) diploma have agreed to the restorative justice (RJ) request submitted by Rismon Sianipar. Three complainants, namely Lechumanan from Peradi Bersatu, Maret Sueken, and Andi Kurniawan, have signed Rismon’s RJ documents at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Wednesday (1/4/2026). Their reports are complaint offences that were previously merged with Jokowi’s report. Meanwhile, Jokowi, through his legal team, had already signed the documents following a meeting with Rismon at his residence in Solo on Thursday (12/3/2026). Rismon also mentioned differences in stance between himself and his fellow suspects, Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma. He emphasised this as a form of his independence as a researcher. Regarding his findings outlined in the book Jokowi’s White Paper, Rismon said he would take responsibility through further research. “I will publish it in a book, and I will give it directly perhaps to Mr Jokowi,” said Rismon. Even, according to Ade, their relationship has now improved. “They have even become friends now,” he said. Nevertheless, Ade emphasised that Lechumanan’s report regarding allegations of Rismon’s fake diploma continues. “Those are two different things. The report is still being processed,” said Ade. Metro Jaya Police have named eight individuals as suspects in the case of allegations of Jokowi’s fake diploma after a lengthy investigation.
