Four Children in Serpong Fall Victim to Abuse, Police Arrest Suspect

Four children have fallen victim to sexual abuse allegedly perpetrated by an 18-year-old teenager in Serpong, South Tangerang. The suspect has been taken into police custody.

The abuse case went viral on social media on Monday (23/2). In circulating posts, it was reported that the case came to light after one of the victims complained of pain in their anus.

Additionally, another victim reportedly arrived at school with redness on their neck. School authorities and parents subsequently questioned the child, and it was suspected that the child had been a victim of the perpetrator’s abuse.

“The perpetrator is over 18 years old,” said South Tangerang Police Chief Senior Commissioner Boy Jumalolo when contacted on Monday (23/2/2026).

Boy stated that there were four victims in the case. The victims were aged 11, 5, 11, and 3 years old respectively.

However, Boy did not provide further details regarding the case. The suspect is currently still being examined as part of the investigation.

“The suspect has been secured and is undergoing intensive examination by investigators. There is more than one victim, and the chronology of the abuse is still under thorough investigation,” he explained.
