The panel of judges at Military Court II-08 Jakarta has handed down verdicts against four members of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) who were defendants in the acid attack case against KontraS activist Andrie Yunus. In a verdict hearing held on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the panel declared that the defendants were not proven to have committed the criminal acts as stated in the primary or subsidiary indictments. However, the four were found guilty of a criminal act per the more subsidiary indictment, namely participating in assault resulting in serious injury with prior planning. The Presiding Judge, Colonel Chk Fredy Ferdian Isnartanto, stated that defendants Edi Sudarko, Budi Hariyanto Widicahyono, Nandala Dwi Prasetyo, and Sami Laka had been legally and convincingly proven guilty in the case. The panel freed the defendants from the primary and subsidiary indictments but declared them guilty per the more subsidiary indictment. For his actions, defendant Second Sergeant Edi Sudarko was sentenced to three years in prison and an additional penalty of dismissal from military service. First Lieutenant Budhi Hariyanto Widicahyono was sentenced to two years and six months in prison and also received an additional penalty of dismissal from military service. Captain Nandala Dwi Prasetyo was sentenced to two years in prison, while First Lieutenant Sami Laka received a sentence of one year and six months. The panel also ordered all defendants to remain in detention and ruled on the disposal of evidence.
