Four arrested for fuel hoarding

BOGOR: Police arrested four fuel hoarding suspects on Thursday
in the village of Tlajungudik, where they are alleged to have
stored diesel fuel.

According to Bogor's chief of police, Sr. Comr. Nanan
Soekarna, the male suspects Gunung Putri, Cileungsi and
Citeureup, were guilty of hoarding fuel. He added that there were
many such cases found in Bogor as the price of kerosene was
cheaper than in Jakarta.

Opportunists are hoarding kerosene as a way to make a quick
and easy profit following the government's plan to increase the
price of fuel in the near future.--JP
