Foundation invites scholarship seekers
JAKARTA: The Sampoerna Foundation, owned by giant cigarette maker PT Sampoerna, is offering 34 scholarships for Indonesian students to take up post-graduate studies in business and management.
Foundation director of programming and alumni relationships Eddy F. Henry said over the weekend the foundation had begun vetting candidates for the scholarship program.
Six students chosen would study in the United States, four in Australia, two in the United Kingdom, two in France, and the others in Indonesia.
The foundation, which was established in 2001, will pay all expenses, including school fees, living costs and books. --JP
