Sinar Mas Land has again organised the Ramadan Festival as an expression of the company’s commitment to instilling religious values, social responsibility and strengthening the character of young people and the community. The Ramadan Festival 2026, held at Baitul Mukhtar Grand Mosque in BSD City on Thursday 5 March, brought together hundreds of students, teachers and residents from South Tangerang, Tangerang Regency and Bogor Regency.
The Ramadan Festival 2026 is part of Sinar Mas Land’s corporate social responsibility division programme, Contributing to Building the Nation, which aims to create an educational and inspirational space during the holy month of Ramadan. Implemented since 2013, the programme combines educational, social and cultural activities through religious-themed competitions, aid distribution, food package handouts, UMKM bazaars and Ramadan outreach visits to schools and assisted villages, promoting green, clean, healthy and waste-free environments. The festival also serves as a collaboration platform for various stakeholders, ranging from local government, educational institutions, social communities to partner UMKM enterprises.
The event was attended by Mochammad Maesyal Rasyid (Bupati of Tangerang), Dilli Windu Rezeki (Head of Primary Education Division, Tangerang Regency), Joni Juhaeni (Head of Islamic Education Section, Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Tangerang Regency), Deden Deni (Head of Education and Culture Office, South Tangerang City), Ahmad Rifaudin (Head of Ministry of Religious Affairs, South Tangerang City), Panji Himawan (Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Sinar Mas Land) and Adhityo Galih Priyambodo (Vice President CSR, Sinar Mas Land).
Mochammad Maesyal Rasyid, Bupati of Tangerang, stated: “I express the highest appreciation and commendation to Sinar Mas Land for its commitment and contribution through the corporate social responsibility programme in the fields of education and religion. This activity is not merely a ceremonial agenda, but a tangible expression of collaboration between the business world and government in building a generation that is virtuous, intelligent and competitive. May the Ramadan Festival 2026 become a space for fellowship, inspiration and the birth of good ideas that strengthen the foundations of civilisation in Tangerang Regency.”
Dony Martadisata, Managing Director President Office of Sinar Mas Land, said: “The Ramadan Festival 2026 is part of the company’s commitment to delivering activities that not only strengthen spirituality, but also foster social responsibility, creativity and environmental awareness among young people. Ramadan is a moment for reflection and character strengthening, and we want these values to be genuinely present through collaboration with schools, communities and our partners involved. This year we have distributed assistance to 450 students and 90 teachers from 45 assisted schools, as well as 260 community members and social workers from Sinar Mas Land’s assisted villages with a total value of Rp194.25 million. We hope this assistance will be helpful, bring joy and serve as an encouragement for students, teachers and community members to continue making positive contributions in their respective environments.”
The Ramadan Festival 2026 features various educational and creative competitions conducted online from 19–27 February 2026, including competitions for Subuh Call to Prayer, Islamic Music Art, Qur’an Recitation, Ramadan Wall Magazines based on recycling creativity, Creative Environmental Campaign Videos and Fashion Shows for students and teachers. The Ramadan Wall Magazine competition specifically encourages participants to address waste management and environmental care issues as part of sustainability campaigns. Through this approach, the values of simplicity and responsibility taught by Ramadan are expected to be applied in daily life, including environmental protection.
The festival also features Ramadan sermons by Ustadz Ahmad Homsani, assisted UMKM bazaars, traditional KADOKITA games and Ramadan outreach activities to schools and assisted villages as a means of strengthening inclusive educational and social ecosystems. Through the Ramadan Festival 2026, Sinar Mas Land hopes to create a meaningful Ramadan atmosphere whilst encouraging the emergence of a generation that is virtuous, creative and capable of making positive contributions to society and the environment.
