Formula Asia in Sentul

JAKARTA (JP): The Sentul circuit in Bogor, West Java, will host the final four races of this season of the Formula Asia championship series on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3.

Sentul was to have hosted only the 13th and 14th races, but two advanced races have been added because Zhu Hai circuit in China will not be able to host them.

Up to the championship's 10th series at the Shah Alam circuit in Malaysia, from Sept. 16 to Sept. 17, Britain's Brian Saunders tops the standings with 125 points. Sweden's Niclas Jonsson trailed in second place with 111, followed by Indonesia's Roy Haryanto with 103.

Indonesia's Ananda Mikola, who finished second behind Alexander Yoong in Shah Alam, is expected by the Sentul circuit's director, Tinton Suprapto, to win this year's final rounds in Sentul. (arf)
