JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Former Technology Consultant in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology environment, Ibrahim Arief, has been demanded a 15-year prison sentence in the alleged procurement case of Chromebook-based laptops from 2019 to 2022. “We demand that the panel of judges impose a prison sentence on the defendant Ibrahim Arief of 15 years with a fine of Rp 1 billion subsidiary 190 days in prison,” stated Public Prosecutor (JPU) Roy Riady while reading the indictment at the trial in the Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday (16/4/2026).
