Former Supreme Court Secretary Nurhadi to Face Charges in Graft Case on Friday
Jakarta — Former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi will attend a hearing for the prosecution’s closing arguments in the case of alleged gratification and money laundering offences on Friday, 13 March 2026.
According to the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) of Jakarta Central District Court, the closing arguments from the prosecution will be presented on Friday, 13 March 2026.
In this case, Nurhadi faces two criminal charges: gratification totalling Rp137.1 billion and money laundering (TPPU) totalling Rp307.2 billion.
For the gratification charge, Nurhadi is accused of violating Article 12B in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law (UU Tipikor) and Article 65 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
In the money laundering case, Nurhadi is accused of violating Article 3 of Republic of Indonesia Law No. 8 of 2010 on the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Offences in conjunction with Article 65 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
Previously, in 2021, Nurhadi was found guilty of accepting bribes and gratification from various case administrators. He was also confirmed to have accepted gratification of Rp13.787 billion from various parties with pending cases at the first instance, appellate, cassation, and judicial review levels.
