Former Supreme Court Secretary Nurhadi Faces Seven-Year Prison Sentence
Defendant Nurhadi, accused of money laundering offences, underwent a sentencing hearing at the Jakarta Anti-Corruption Court on Friday, 13 March 2026.
Nurhadi, who served as Secretary of the Supreme Court (Mahkamah Agung) from 2011 to 2016, was charged by the Public Prosecutor’s Office with a prison sentence of seven years, along with a fine of 500 million rupiah with a subsidiary sentence of 140 days imprisonment, and an obligation to pay compensation of 137.1 billion rupiah with a subsidiary sentence of three years imprisonment.
