Former Presidential Communications Office Head Hasan Nasbi Attends Meeting at Prabowo's Residence

Jakarta — Former Presidential Communications Office (PCO) head Hasan Nasbi participated in a limited cabinet meeting (ratas) chaired by President Prabowo Subianto at Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Monday, 9 March 2026.

According to photographs released, Hasan Nasbi sat in the rear section alongside Presidential Chief of Staff M Qodari.

Hasan stated that he attended Hambalang because he was invited by the palace’s protocol office. However, he declined to clarify whether he was invited in his capacity as Pertamina commissioner, or whether he had been appointed to a new position within the palace.

“Please ask the cabinet secretary about that. I was simply a participant,” he said.

The PCO was restructured and renamed the Government Communications Agency, now headed by Angga Raka Prabowo. Following his removal from the PCO post, Hasan Nasbi was appointed as a commissioner at PT Pertamina (Persero).

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that Monday’s meeting discussed national strategic measures and preparations for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 M.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Economy Coordination Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, and Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Also present were Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
