Former PDIP Maluku Cadre Febry Calvin Tetelepta Reportedly Joins PSI
The political landscape in Maluku is showing new dynamics. Former PDIP Maluku cadre Febry Calvin Tetelepta (FCT) is reported to have joined the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). The news of his joining emerged following a meeting between Febry and PSI’s Chairman, Kaesang Pangarep. Febry previously served as Deputy at the Presidential Staff Office during President Joko Widodo’s administration. Photographs received show Febry posing with Kaesang, with Febry on the left and Kaesang on the right. Febry is seen wearing a blue shirt and black trousers, while Kaesang is dressed in a white PSI jacket and black trousers. The two are seen holding a single card together, which is believed to be Febry’s PSI membership card (KTA). FCT is known as a prominent figure from Maluku who has actively championed regional development issues through national networks during his time in central government. His entry into PSI is expected to bolster the party’s presence in Maluku, especially as PSI continues to strengthen its political consolidation across regions ahead of upcoming national political events.
