Former Ombudsman Yeka Hendra Named Suspect in Cooking Oil Obstruction of Justice Case
Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named former Ombudsman member Yeka Hendra Fatika as a suspect in a case of alleged obstruction of justice in a corruption case involving cooking oil. The suspect designation followed a nearly 10-hour interrogation of Yeka starting at 11:00 WIB on Monday, 25 May. Director of Investigations for Special Criminal Cases, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that Yeka intentionally obstructed or thwarted the investigation and prosecution of defendants in the corruption case concerning export facilities for crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives in 2022.
