Former Ombudsman member Yeka Hendra Fatika was led to a police van after questioning at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) in Jakarta on Monday, 25 May 2026. The Attorney General’s Office has named Yeka Hendra Fatika as a suspect in a case of alleged obstruction of justice (OOJ) related to cooking oil corruption. Yeka is suspected of intentionally preventing, hindering, or undermining investigations, prosecutions, and court proceedings in a corruption case concerning export facilitation of crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives in 2022. He is also alleged to have altered the Ombudsman RI’s inspection report (LHP) from mentioning cooking oil shortages to revoking the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) for export interests.
