PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 Tbk. (SDRA), also known as BWS, has announced a change in its management. In a public disclosure, the South Korean-based bank stated that Ahmad Fajarprana has submitted his resignation from the board of commissioners.

“The Company received the resignation letter from Mr. Ahmad Fajarprana from his position as Independent Commissioner on 16 September 2026,” said SDRA Director, Ricko Irwanto, in a disclosure reported on Thursday (17/9/2026).

He noted that the letter will be discussed and decided upon during the General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS).

“The resignation request will be decided in the General Meeting of Shareholders in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Ricko.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Ahmad has held this commissioner position since November 2014. He possesses an extensive career history in the banking sector. Ahmad also previously served as a director at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS).

He held the position of Director of the Claims Handling Group from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Ahmad served as the Director of Risk Management at LPS from 2010 to 2013.

Before his tenure at LPS, Ahmad served as Vice President and Group Head of Loan Work Out at the Indonesia Banking Restructuring Agency from 1999 to 2004. He also served as the Indonesia Chief Representative for the Bankers Trust Co. from 1996 to 1999.

Furthermore, Ahmad previously held the position of Vice President at Citibank, where he was responsible as the Financial Institution Senior Relationship Officer from 1991 to 1996.
