Former Kejagung Spokesperson and Health Ministry Official Appointed to Senior Roles at National Nutrition Agency

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has reshuffled its senior leadership, with five new high-ranking officials appointed by the President. The new appointees include Ketut Sumedana, the former Head of the Attorney General’s Office’s Legal Information Centre, who now serves as Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision. Prima Yosefin Berliana Tumiur Hutapea, a former Director at the Ministry of Health, has been appointed Deputy for Systems and Governance. Zainuri, formerly the Head of the Finance Bureau at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), takes on the role of Deputy for Provision and Distribution, while Mariman Darto becomes Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation. Lili Khamiliyah has been appointed as the agency’s Principal Secretary.

BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari stated that the new appointments are crucial for improving the agency and the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. She highlighted Prima Yosefin’s background in managing national immunisation programmes, noting her experience in building systems for targeting millions of recipients is highly relevant for the MBG programme. Prima will be responsible for improving the targeting of beneficiaries and evaluating the effectiveness of the nutritional intervention.

Arumsari also emphasised that Zainuri’s extensive auditing experience will be vital for reforming the agency’s procurement, distribution, and budget accountability systems. The goal is to ensure that every rupiah of state funds disbursed through virtual accounts can be accounted for in detail, with the expectation that the entire budget will be managed effectively, efficiently, transparently, and accountably.
