Former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah Questioned in ASABRI Case, Not Detained

Former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah has completed an examination by investigators at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) in connection with the alleged corruption and money laundering case at PT ASABRI. Febrie was not detained following the questioning.

His lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, emerged from the Round Building of the Attorney General’s Office in South Jakarta on Friday evening (17/7/2026) and confirmed that his client had answered 18 questions. Hotman stated that the allegations were denied, asserting that the ASABRI case had already been decided by the court in early January 2022, before Febrie assumed the position of Jampidsus on 22 January 2022.

Hotman also addressed the issue of assets linked to the case, specifically a house in Sentul. He clarified that since 2022, the property has been physically controlled and occupied by another individual, Don Ritto, and that Febrie no longer has any physical possession of it. Despite the lengthy questioning session, which lasted approximately 10 to 11 hours, Febrie was not seen by journalists entering or leaving the main access points of the building, and no detention was ordered by the investigators.
